Overview
VIK is an early-stage prototype program. This policy explains, in plain language, how we handle information you share while VIK devices are in development.
Information we collect
When you submit a preorder or configuration, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, contact information, location, chosen mastery goal or business requirements, and any custom requests. If you choose to pay, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full card details.
How we use it
We use your information to design your device experience, contact you about your preorder, and improve the VIK concept. Founding customers may receive product updates and opportunities to give feedback.
Camera & identification
Any camera, identification, recognition, or greeting capability is a planned feature. Such features would require user consent, appropriate disclosures, security controls, and compliance with applicable privacy, biometric, security, and data-protection laws. The prototype does not promise biometric identification.
Data handling
We design with security in mind and limit access to the information you submit. Because VIK is in development, data practices may evolve; we will update this policy as the product matures.
